ABOUT
Julien was born and raised in Amiens, France. At the age of 11, his interest in music was ignited when he heard AC/DC which sparked a lifelong passion for all things music. From then on, he spent every waking moment playing guitar and learning all there is to know about music.
Immediately after high school, he was awarded multiple educational scholarships to expand his music skills professionally, which ranged from studying music theory and arrangement to learning to play various genres and instruments with established musicians and record in studios. In 2012, he obtained the Golden Medal(DEM, Diplome d’Etudes Musicale), the highest distinction and PhD equivalent from the Conservatory of Cambrai, France.

During his education Julien toured all over Europe and the United States performing live shows with big name metal bands. Julien then relocated to the United States to study at Berklee College of Music and begin his teaching career.
Today, Julien, also known as Vik Sunday, works on his own projects as an advanced multi-instrumental music instructor, a lead guitarist in a Los Angeles based metal band, and composes original music for many famous bands.
Julien is proudly endorsed by Vigier guitars and Anatomy of Sound Picks. Throughout his career, Julien has been featured in Guitar Part Magazine, Guitariste Magazine, Le Courrier Picard newspaper, Rage Against The Mainstream Podcast, and has won several awards for his composing and guitar skills.
